Dear Eagle Regiment Families,
we hope you had (and continue to have) a restful three-day weekend! Congratulations on another excellent performance at the John I. Leonard Lancer Jamboree this weekend! Let's use this as motivation to do even better in rehearsal this week! YOU have the power to make this an absolutely incredible show, so let's take it as far as we can! Do it for those who've come before us and for those who will come after us. Let's bring the Heat!

This is a friendly reminder that due to copyright restrictions, posting videos of our Marching Band Show on social media and/or YouTube is strictly prohibited. Please ensure any videos you take are only posted on the Band App private page until further notice.
Thank you for helping us honor these guidelines and supporting our program responsibly. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
We have had a few changes to our Marching Band Calendar. All have been changed on the calendar, but please make note on your own calendar.
OCTOBER 17, 2026: Hialeah Competition Day has been changed to a CAMP DAY due to the Hialeah High School Competition being canceled by FMBC we will have a 8am-12pm Camp day instead.
ROME REHEARSALS NOTICE:
Rehearsals for the Rome band will start back up on October 21st, and will be every Wednesday from (4:00pm-6:00pm). There will NOT be rehearsal on Wednesday, November 11th. From there, there will be rehearsal everyday Monday-Friday (4:00pm-6:00pm).
The schedule for these rehearsals will be:

SENIOR NIGHT
On Thursday we will honor our seniors at the football game. Seniors will walk through the inflatable eagle with their parents and siblings, as they are being announced. All family members attending must purchase a ticket for the footbal game. Family members will go through the football gate where there is metal detectors and meet us at the field.
We will begin lining up at 4:45pm. Please be on time. Our photographer will be on hand to take photos as you walk through the tunnel and then off to the side if you would like a quick family photo.
Seniors will be wearing their Traditional Maroon Uniform and Underclassman will be in their 2026 Show Uniform.
INSTRUMENT RENTALS
If you are renting an instrument from school, you must fill out an instrument rental form as well as paying on the online payment linked below! Anyone including percussion who uses a school owned instrument must pay!
FLIGHT INFORMATION
Rome Flight information has been posted. Please be sure mark which flight you are scheduled to be on. We will be providing a bus service from MSD to MIA. More details coming soon.
REQUIRED ITEMS
All members are expected to have an Eagle Regiment Beanie for our trip. If you don't own one already please pre-order by November 1, 2026.
ALL STUDENTS MUST JOIN THE BAND APP FOR THEIR CLASS
These band apps will be shared during class this week. Parents are encouraged to join their students class page
CONCERT BAND FAIR SHARE PAST DUE
DUE ON OCTOBER 1st
Concert Band Fairshare for the 2026/27 season is $50 this should be paid directly to MEPA .
This will cover the cost of winter concert band camp plus required Concert MPA registrations.
PARENT VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
We have many ways for parents to get involved this season. We are looking for help during Rehearsals and Camps as well as all football games and local competitions.
AFTERSCHOOL REHEARSALS & CAMPS
We need parents to help with the Red Gate, and Student Wellness each time we have a Rehearsal or Camp.

FOOTBALL GAME PARKING
Football parking is a big fund raiser for our Marching Band. We will need parents to help collect money during the first half of the game. All parking volunteers get entry to the game for free and will be in the stadium to see the half time show.
