Membership in the EAGLE REGIMENT MARCHING BAND is required of ALL students enrolled in a Band, Color Guard, and Percussion Class. To be a member of the Eagle Regiment Marching Band, the student must maintain a G.P.A. of at least a 2.0 (“C” avg.). The student must agree to attend all rehearsals, sectionals and performances and are required to attend the Spring Training Rehearsals in May and June, as well as the (3) Summer Band Camps, as follows:

SPRING TRAINING REHEARSALS will be held in May and the first week of June on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:30 PM until 7:00 PM. During the Spring Training Rehearsals, students will be taught basic marching fundamentals, music fundamentals and warm-ups, show music, stands music, flag and dance routines, and traditions of the Eagle Regiment.  *See Calendar for exact dates at https://www.stonemandouglasband.com/calendar

BAND CAMP #1 will be held in June the week after school ends from 8:00 AM until 6:30 PM. During this camp, students will be taught basic marching fundamentals, show music, stands music, flag and dance routines, and traditions of the Eagle Regiment.  *See Calendar for exact dates at https://www.stonemandouglasband.com/calendar

BAND CAMP #2 will be held the last week of July and in to the first week of August and will be from 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM.  This camp is an intense week of learning and training for all band and guard members in preparation for the upcoming competition season. This is the time necessary for students to learn the music and show designs the band will employ on the field during halftime shows, the FBA Marching Band Performance Assessment, and various competitions. All Band and Guard members are required to attend this camp. Band Camp #2 is the equivalent of eight weeks of regular rehearsals. Those holding jobs are expected to clear that time so that they will be in full attendance at all activities of Band Camp. BAND CAMP #3 will be held in August the week before school starts from 8:00 AM until 6:30 PM. This camp will further prepare band and guard members for the start of competition season! *See Calendar for exact dates at https://www.stonemandouglasband.com/calendar

ONCE SCHOOL BEGINS, the Eagle Regiment rehearses (2) to (3) days a week from 3:15 PM – 7:00 PM, performs at all Home Football Games, and will compete in several Marching Band Competitions during September, October, and November.  There will be a couple of Saturday Camp days for the Marching Band.  *See Calendar for exact dates at https://www.stonemandouglasband.com/calendar
