Dear Eagle Regiment Families,
I hope everyone enjoyed this past week with both of our performances from the world guard and indoor percussion! Both groups got to debut their shows to all of our friends and family this past Friday. The world guard also had their first competition on Saturday and they placed 2nd! Congrats to both teams for perfoming their shows for the first time.

The band will be hosting a concert music camp on February 5th-7th. Here is the schedule for this event:

The Eagle Regiment Is Going to Rome!
The Eagle Regiment has been invited to perform in the 2027 New Years Day Parade in Rome, Italy.

SAVE THE DATE
The Eagle Regiment will hold their annual awards banquet on Friday, May 22 at the Heron Bay Marriott. This is open to all 2025/26 members of the Marching Band, Winter Guard, Indoor Percussion as well as students in the band classes, and their parents. Everyone attending will need to purchase a ticket. More information about ticket price and event details to follow.
The Eagle Regiment will hold their annual Senior Dinner on Friday, April 29, 2026. This is dinner is just for the seniors of Marching Band, Indoor Percussion, and Winter Guard. They will be accompanied by the band director and guard director. More details including location and time to follow.

WORLD GUARD PLACES 2nd at SEASON KICK OFF!
Last night, the Stoneman Douglas World Guard lit up the floor at the SFWGA Premiere Night Season Kickoff at John I. Leonard High School with an emotionally charged performance that set the tone for the entire season. The team performed with heart, intensity, and incredible focus — a show full of passion and connection that clearly resonated with the audience and judges alike.
Their powerful performance earned them a strong 2nd place finish to open the competitive season, and we could not be more proud of how these performers represented our program.
A huge thank you to all of our parents and volunteers who worked behind the scenes all weekend — from loading trucks and prepping props to supporting our students every step of the way. Your time, energy, and dedication make moments like this possible.
What a start to the season — and we’re just getting warmed up. 💛✨

2026 MSDI PARENT MEETING
We will host a parent meeting for all MSDi members on Saturday, January 31, 2026 at 10:00am. The meeting will be held in room 827 (Mr. B's room)
2026 MSDI SHOW AND TRAVEL SHIRT ORDERS
MSDi show and travel shirts are now on sale!! Pre-sale of these shirts ends January, 29, 2026. All members receive one of each of these shirts - the Pre-sale orders is just for family and friends.
FFCC MARTIN COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL CONTEST
MSDi has their first show of the season on Sunday, February 1, 2026. They will perfrom at 2:48pm at Martin County High School.

Dayton Ohio Tentative Itinerary
We have drafted a very tentative itinerary for our bus trip to Dayton Ohio in April. All times are subject to change as we get closer to the event. We will have a longer stop both coming and going or bus drivers to change shifts. The trip features stops at Buc ee's, Wawa, and Cracker Barrel.
