I am officially Inviting all Alumni and Parents of the Eagle Regiment to perform with the Wind Symphony at our Concert on Thursday, 12/12/19, on our "Friends and Family Song." If you play or played an Instrument and are interested, please come to Rehearsal at 5:15 PM on Tuesday, 12/10. If you need an instrument, please contact me at the Band Office.
This Week’s Schedule:
Tuesday, 12/10/2019 – Rehearsal for the Winter Concert
Concert Band, Symphonic Band, and Wind Symphony,
Rehearsal - 3:00 PM - 6:30 PM. (Friends & Family Song Rehearsal - 5:15 PM)
World Guard Rehearsal 4:30-5:30pm stretch, 5:30-8:30pm mini gym
A Guard Rehearsal 4:30-7:30pm courtyard Winter Guard students please see color guard notes in news section for additional reminders.
Wednesday, 12/11/2019 – Eagle Regiment - Two Events
1. Marching Band Picture Day, 7:40 AM - 2:40 PM. UNIFORM - Full Uniform
The Photographer will be in the Band Room. See Mr. R for a Pass or take the Pic during your band/guard/perc class. (Females can wear their Hair down and utilize make up.
Instruments needed for the parade must be picked up at 2:40pm. Large instruments will need to be loaded into Eagle 1 right away.
*You will also have to pick up your uniform and shacko right after school on Wednesday.
2. Coral Springs Holiday Parade. UNIFORM - Full Uniform
Schedule:
Front ensemble members will have the elf/santa hats and baskets to pass out candy canes. (no throwing candy canes)
5:30 PM - Meet Time (Dressed) at the Burger King located at Coral Springs Drive, south of Sample Road. *(Sample Road will close at 5pm)
7:00 PM - Parade
8:15 PM (approx.) - Parent Pick up at Village Square Parking Lot located on the Northwest corner of Sample Road and University Drive.
* Since the roads will be closing at 5 PM, and our meet time is 5:30 PM at the Burger King, a free bus shuttle is available to the staging area. Shuttles leave from City Hall parking garage (9500 West Sample Road), access from University Drive and NW 32nd Street or NW 31st Court/Artwalk/Post Office) from 5 to 6:30 PM. We highly recommend arriving early and carpooling to this shuttle area.
All uniforms need to be returned first thing Thursday morning.
The parade music and routine will be the same as the Disney Parade.
Thursday, 12/12/2019 – Winter Concert. UNIFORM - Tuxedo/Dress
Concert Band, Symphonic Band, and Wind Symphony,
6:00 PM - Meet Time (Dressed)
7:00 PM - CONCERT ($10.00 admission for Spectators)
9:00 PM - Reception in the Band Room
*All Students need to bring a Baked Good for the Reception*
THERE WILL BE NO WORLD GUARD REHEARSAL THURSDAY DUE TO CONCERT.
Friday, 12/13/2019 – A Guard Rehearsal 4:30pm-7:30pm courtyard & mini-gym
Saturday, 12/14/2019 – World Guard Rehearsal
9:45 AM - Building opens
10:00 AM - Rehearsal begins
12:00 PM - Lunch 12:45 PM - Rehearsal resumes 6:00 PM - Rehearsal over
6:20 PM - Dismissal
